Principal's Message

Dear Ottomon Families,

 

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year at Ottomon Way Elementary! It is with great enthusiasm and anticipation that I greet each of you as we embark on another exciting year of learning, growth, and community building.

 

At Ottomon, our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are dedicated to fostering a love of learning, critical thinking skills, and a sense of responsibility in all of our students. Our committed team of educators is here to support and guide each student on their unique educational journey.

 

This year, we are thrilled to welcome several new staff members who we know will enrich the student experience. Our Site Leadership Team and our Behavior Team have been working over the summer to fine tune our excellent academic initiatives, as well as focus on student wellness, ensuring that our students feel that sense of success, belonging and safety in our community. 

 

Communication and collaboration between home and school are key to a successful educational experience. We encourage all families to stay engaged by checking parent portal often, attending school events, participating in parent-teacher conferences, and staying informed through our regular newsletters and updates. Your involvement and support are invaluable to our school community.

 

I am honored to serve as your principal and am committed to making this school year one of growth, achievement, and joy for every student. Together, let us make the 2024-25 school year a memorable and successful one.
